Meditators are often encouraged to stop thinking as if a mind without thoughts would somehow be a healthy and happy one.
In this workshop, we explore 'thinking' and more generally our relationship to thoughts in meditation. We uncover common myths and misconceptions, test reliable ways of calming the mind, of opening to thoughts and emotions, and moment-by-moment we develop the skills to learn, to grow, and to make peace with the proverbial 'monkey-mind’.
Beginners and seasoned practitioners can learn from the explorations, games, and dialogue found in this session.
